Hi, I'm Emma...
a former 9-to-5er turned full-time freelancer who built a business from scratch with no roadmap, no team, and more than a few “What am I doing?” moments along the way.
When I first started freelancing, I was juggling everything: work, life, deadlines, dishes - you name it. I didn’t have a support system or a clear direction, just a deep craving for freedom and the kind of work-life balance that didn’t feel like a myth. What I did have was grit, a laptop, and a vision for something more. More flexibility, more ownership, and more space to build a life that actually worked for me.
Over time, I found my footing. I figured out what I loved, who I loved working with, and how to turn this messy, magical journey into something sustainable. Now, through Freelance by Emma, I help other business owners do the same.
I offer business management support for entrepreneurs who want help behind the scenes, and coach fellow freelancers who are ready to grow - or just need someone to remind them they’re not alone in figuring it all out.
Whether you're deep in client work, dreaming about quitting your job, or somewhere in the messy middle, I’m here to say: you’re not behind, and you don’t have to do it all alone. Building a business is hard, but it doesn’t have to feel impossible.
